Roman (actor Ralph Mohutsky, Jr.) with a few of his picks.
The son of a drug runner, and heir
to his legend, this Latin American
got most of his education from the
underworld.
The rest he got by watching films.
A trip to the movie theater is more
than an escape for Porforio Roman.
In "The .40 Caliber Mouse," a novel
by Stephen Pytak, "El Hombre"
goes to see a version of "The Count
of Monte Cristo" on the big screen.
And he comes away inspired, eager
to continue his personal quest for
vengeance and glory.
   Action-adventure flicks are his
favorites. But he'll go see anything
with the right woman, or women.
